Graduate training of residency applicants:

Preferred: clinical psychology, counseling psychology, neuropsychology
Accepted: behavioral medicine
Not accepted: school psychology, non-APA accredited programs

Primary emphasis: Adult

Emphases of training opportunities:

Strong: adult neuropsychological assessment and consultation
Moderate: research, forensics, supervision by resident of other providers, psychoeducational groups
Weak: child adult assessment and consultation, neuropsychological rehabilitation, psychotherapy

Availability of patient populations:

Strong: returning vets with mild TBI, stroke and cerebrovascular disease, dementia, Parkinson's and related conditions, geriatric medical conditions, psychiatric disorders, neuropsychology in general medical illness, racial/ethnic minorities (African-American).

Moderate: multiple sclerosis and related conditions, ADD/learning disabilities.

Weak: HIV/AIDS, organ transplant, epilepsy.
