Policy regarding on-site interviews: On-site interviews are offered to potential residents and are encouraged so that the candidate may see the facilities and meet other postdoctoral fellows and other personnel, but are NOT required and do not influence candidates' rankings. Phone interviews will be arranged for candidates to talk to those supervisors who do not attend INS, or for candidates who do not attend INS.

Accepted: clinical psychology, counseling psychology, school psychology,

Primary emphasis: Adult and Pediatric

Emphases of training opportunities:

Strong: neuropsychological assessment, neuropsychological consultation,
neuropsychological rehabilitation, research, supervision by resident of other
providers, neuroimaging research (fMRI, MRI morphometry)

Moderate: forensics

Weak: psychotherapy

Availability of patient populations:

Strong: brain injury, multiple sclerosis and related conditions, stroke and cerebrovascular disease, mild cognitive impairment, bipolar disorder, dementia, parkinsons, and geriatric conditions, psychiatric, epilepsy, tumor, schizophrenia, PTSD

Moderate: ADD/learning disabilities. OCD, HIV/AIDS, racial/ethnic minorities (rural, French speaking)

Weak: Acute stroke
